The five star Royal Lahaina Resort is a quick ten minute drive from the West Maui Kapalua Airport and sits amidst twenty seven acres of lush garden landscaping and the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. The legendary Black Rock is located slightly south of the resort. The Royal Lahaina underwent a complete thirty five million dollar refurbishment in 2007 including the luxurious 100,000 dollar makeover for the rooms. The resort cottages were updated in 2008.
