Even though I was already very excited for the Sip & Pair Wine and Chocolate Tasting it completely blew my expectations out of the water! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the chocolate and wine pairings. I was expecting a small bite of each chocolate and just a taste of wine. Instead, you receive a decent helping of the chocolate, a wine pour AND an individual charcuterie board with sections made to pair with each wine and chocolate. This was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Oahu and I would highly recommend. Everything was delicious and I ended up leaving with over 10 bars of chocolate!

Quite simply the best. The product is exceptional but the experience is unmatched. The chocolate, wine and coffee are delicious — and the chocolate tasting is eye opening to all the various natural flavors that exist in the different bars. The staff are knowledgeable and made our tasting really fun —we learned so much and have a great time with both kids and adults each time we visit. Don’t miss this great opportunity!!

We had the best experience with Kosh with our sip and pair. He really connected with each of us and was extremely knowledgeable of the chocolate/wines along with our charcuterie items that were presented to us. Would highly recommend to give this place a visit. I personally don’t drink wine but my friends enjoyed them! The chocolates we tried were high quality and were Devine :) Parking was easy, there’s metered but we were lucky the one we parked at was broken. lol

Most delicious tour I’ve ever had! The samples, the history and the first hand observation windows looking in on the live process was unreal! Had to make sure I took a bunch of bars home with me from the gift shop!

Guava Fact (as found inside my chocolate wrapper): Guava was introduced to Hawai'i during initial western contact in the 1700's. It has spread rapidly and is now considered the Hawaiian Islands' most prolific wild fruit. Guava's flavor is uniquely tart and sweet, commonly described as a hybrid between a strawberry and a pear. Founder Dylan Butterbaugh started Manoa Chocolate in 2010 with a mission to create ethically sourced Hawaii-made craft chocolate. The 2025 opening of this factory represents about huge milestone for their journey. We ordered our $25 factory tour tickets online, signed an online waiver, and went on our tour. You get a short shuttle ride over to their factory, meet your host at the Roaster area, watch a short six-minute welcome film to learn about their story in the theater room, go to the catwalk to taste three liquid chocolates on a commemorative keepsake spoon (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and 100% cacao), and then you walk along the packaging line to see how their chocolate is molded and packaged. If you have trouble with stairs, this tour might not be for you. It's a very short, self-guided tour. Just follow Mo, their mascot, and keep an eye out for his gecko prints on your tour path.
