Every December through March, thousands of Humpback whales migrate to the warm waters of Hawaii. Ocean stewardship is deeply embedded in Native Hawaiian culture. Humpback whales, or koholā, are an important part of history, legends, and connection to the sea. The morning trip is featured on Holona, a fast and nimble open powerboat offering up close and personal views of the whales. Expect a light splash of sea-spray as you get a view at sea level of the majestic creatures. The afternoon trip is featured on the Spirit of Aloha, a sailing catamaran offering a laid-back yet spirited sailing experience, combining panoramic ocean views with gentle tropical breezes.

Important Information

• You will be beach boarding on Hawaii Nautical Holona 34 passenger 40' bow-loading thrill craft, fully shaded, spacious bench seating, onboard restroom, fast and fun. Then ferried to our 54 foot catamaran, Gold Coast catamaran, with bar & buffet, indoor seating, two restrooms and shower. When boarding at A-Bay, it is a beach-loading process, with barefoot entry that takes a few steps into the seawater from the beach. Come in casual clothing that may come in contact with water.
