Description

Begin your adventure with a short nature walk, where your guide will share fascinating insights about the topography, landscapes, and lava tubes responsible for pumping cold water runoff from Maunakea. Learn about the local culture and land formations as you make your way to the first snorkeling spot. Arrive at the bay, where a set of stairs provides easy access to the water. Dive in and snorkel for about an hour, keeping an eye out for turtles and smaller fish. After your first snorkeling session, enjoy some snacks before heading to the second location. At the second snorkel site, follow a sandy path that leads you to the best area for snorkeling in the bay. While you may not see many turtles here, the coral and sea life are abundant and beautiful. Spend another hour exploring the underwater world, with your guide watching over you the whole time. After your snorkeling adventure, head back to the car and make your way back to the starting point.
