Your adventure begins with a visit to Kealakekua Bay, a marine sanctuary known for its thriving coral reefs and historical significance. Snorkel near the Captain Cook Monument and witness the stunning underwater ecosystem, home to a variety of tropical fish, vibrant corals, and possibly even a honu (sea turtle). The clear waters of the bay provide excellent visibility, making it easy to see the bustling marine life beneath the surface. Lucky snorkelers might even spot native spinner dolphins in the deeper waters of the bay.
