- The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located on historic Ford Island, an active military base that is accessed by shuttle bus from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center For security reasons, no bags are allowed on the shuttle bus to Ford Island. A bag storage facility, located at the Bowfin Submarine Park shuttle bus stop, can store your belongings for a fee of $6.00 per bag or $7.50 per bag for large bags and/or luggage The Top of the Tower tour runs daily from 9:40 AM to 4:20 PM Tours run every 40 minutes and guests are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes early Each guest is limited to no more than 30 minutes at the top of the tower For safety reasons, children must be 42' tall to access the Top of the Tower Tour. Infants and toddlers are not allowed The Ford Island Control Tower is a historic building. Access to the Observation Deck requires ticket holders to use handrails to climb two flights of steep stairs
