See what life was like on Oahu pre-war and at the moment of the attack. Explore 25,000 square feet of exhibits including authentic fighter planes. Head to Hangar 79 and continue through history. Explore planes from the Gulf, Korean and Vietnam wars and visit the Shealy Restoration Shop. See planes awaiting future display including the B-17 Swamp Ghost. Choose to add the Top of the Tower tour to your entry ticket and take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime experience featuring the Pearl Harbor battlefield from the iconic Ford Island Control Tower. Join a guided tour of the 15-story tower and see the restored elevator, upper cab, and a 360-degree view from the observation deck.

Important Information

  • The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located on historic Ford Island, an active military base that is accessed by shuttle bus from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center For security reasons, no bags are allowed on the shuttle bus to Ford Island. A bag storage facility, located at the Bowfin Submarine Park shuttle bus stop, can store your belongings for a fee of $6.00 per bag or $7.50 per bag for large bags and/or luggage The Top of the Tower tour runs daily from 9:40 AM to 4:20 PM Tours run every 40 minutes and guests are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes early Each guest is limited to no more than 30 minutes at the top of the tower For safety reasons, children must be 42' tall to access the Top of the Tower Tour. Infants and toddlers are not allowed The Ford Island Control Tower is a historic building. Access to the Observation Deck requires ticket holders to use handrails to climb two flights of steep stairs
