it was my first time at club Hawaii by night last weekend. I am a hardworking member of the military and was recommended to this club by my friends on base I showed up with two hundred dollars expecting to be able to have fun. As soon as I walked in the door a girl named Alana grabbed me before I had even fully walked in and gotten a chance to look around. She pulled me into a down trodden booth in the back of the club demanding I give her two hundred dollars so that we could party all night together. She started dancing and after ten seconds asked if I had Cash App. She wanted me to send her a one hundred dollar tip for her to get fully nude. She took my phone and sent herself the money. Then she told me she had a surprise for me and brought her friend Italy into the booth to join us saying she would send Italy one hundred dollars to dance with us as well. After two songs they told me they had to go on stage and they never came back. I ended up leaving really disappointed and when I checked my phone the next day I saw they had both actually sent themselves a thousand dollars instead of the one hundred they promised. NEVER GO TO THIS CLUB. The girls are scammers liars and unprofessional. They don’t care about your hard earned money and have no respect for the military on this island. 0/10 beware of Alana.
I’ve only been once, so experiences may vary, but my visit left a pretty negative impression. When I got there, a duo of girls focused their attention on me and consistently pressured me to spend more money throughout the night. I had already paid for their drinks and a couple of dances, but they kept insisting on additional money for more drinks. At one point, I agreed, but one of them took it upon herself to select the withdrawal amount at the ATM and ended up keeping a portion for themselves (for example, withdrawing $200 and only using about half for drinks). Of course, I take responsibility for not being more firm in saying no. That said, I don’t think customers should feel pressured or put in situations where money is being taken in a pushy or unclear way. I understand it’s a strip club and that the dancers are there to make money, but there’s a difference between creating a fun, welcoming environment that encourages spending and making someone feel pressured or taken advantage of. I should feel comfortable in wanting to spend money, not like I’m being shaken down. I’m sure not everyone there operates like this, but the experience left me with a bad impression overall.
