I had thought I received a massage before, until I saw Amy at the Manoa House. She really is a master at her craft. Her body awareness is unmatched. She was working on my hands and I could feel release in my neck. I really appreciate her systemic approach to the body and how thorough she is in making sure the body is flowing as a whole. The studio was so clean and aesthetically pleasing with very peaceful music and the heated table and cloths were really relaxing too. I love that she does a multi faceted approach to her body work. The combination of acupuncture, cupping, and her specific massage technique were so incredibly healing. As an athlete, my body takes a lot of wear and tear, and despite having received massages elsewhere before, I rarely have felt as reset as I did after her approach. I felt muscles and tendons, I didn't even know existed relax. I really appreciated that while Amy let me fully relax while she worked, she would check in to make sure I was comfortable or that she was targeting the right areas. She had asked me at the beginning of prior injuries or sore spots and really gave those areas attention while still being super thorough with the rest of the body. I truly cannot recommend her enough. That was a transcendent experience.
Raven is absolutely incredible. After a 2 hour massage with lots of neck and jaw work, I walked out of there new and rejuvenated! Highly recommend this place for bodywork.
