Marriott Vacation Club, Waikiki
Hawaii
レビュー
We are Westin Vacation Club owners in the Flex and Marriott Vacation Club systems. This is our first time staying at the Waikiki Marriott. It sits just behind Fort DeRussy Beach Park which you can take in the views all the way to the ocean from the 8th floor Owners lounge area (includes an infinity roof top pool, gym, restaurant/bar, fire pits, and ample seating to lay out with umbrellas). While the property is small (first level is vacant and currently selling/leasing space for retail/restaurant space, second level is the Marriott Vacation Club sales team, third level is the lobby, and eight level is the rooftop amenities), it is situated in a perfect spot and within walking distance of all the major shopping and dining areas in Waikiki. We stayed in a one bedroom (see the pictures). It had a separate bedroom area, two large televisions, large refrigerator (no stove or cook tops and washer/dryer are on certain levels), and spacious bathroom. We felt the location, pristine rooftop pool and sitting area, and modern decor/furniture in the rooms made it worth our stay. We originally stayed a week at the Marriott Ko'Olina (which definitely has a resort feel), and then spent four days at this location to enjoy Waikiki. Parking tip: Military can reserve a month at the Hale Koa garage for about $190 and non-military pays $235 a month. That's cheaper than the hotel/valet services as they do not maintain their own garage. Overall, it's hard to find parking in downtown Waikiki so the Hale Koa garage which is a short walk across Fort DeRussy was worth it for our family. No direct beach access, but again, you can walk to Waikiki beach, rent chairs/umbrellas at the Hale Koa, enjoy a lunch at Happy's at the Hale Koa (no military ID required at Happy's or beach rentals), and make a stroll back to the vacation club at the end of the day. You will need a military ID/DOD (active duty, retired, or VA disability) to eat the Hale Koa breakfast or shop at the exchange. Overall, we would definitely stay at this club when we can't get in at the Hale Koa. It's a great location and sports wonderful views!
We only downgraded the rooom because the AC blows right onto the bed. Rooms are nice and the amenities are good. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar/foodstop is a pleasant surprise with really good foood at non-Honolulu prices! The beds were comfortable and living room area spacious enough for 4 people. The location was fantastic close to the shops, restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Watch the Friday beach fireworks from the rooftop infinity pool!!
I just had a wonderful stay with some families. The facility is clean, friendly and very helpful staff, a great location. Shops, restaurants, and the beach is within walking distance. Their staff, Richard and Emily are the most helpful. They made our stay pleasant and welcoming. I greatly appreciate their hospitality. Thank you, Richard and Emily!
My wife and I loved our stay here. The rooms were comfy, spacious, and clean. The staff was amazing. Upon arrival, Richard gave us a warm welcome, took us up to the lobby and handed us wet cold towels which I thought was super thoughtful. Our barkeep, Vuong, was friendly as well and gave us great recommendations. The whole staff in general was amazing. Oh and the infinity pool is a must while staying here! Overall, I definitely recommend this place!
