Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach
Hawaii
Beoordelingen
Perfect location. Easy access to the beach as it’s only a couple of blocks within walking distance. Shopping center with a variety of stores and food options located right across the road. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. WiFi drops out a lot if you are relying on this just be aware. The aircon in our room also stopped at point s throughout the night which was annoying. Rooms do not have any cutlery only basic extras. The shower pressure is amazing! Breakfast restaurant on site was delicious and fresh. We had a $25 drink credit in our package each day to use at the pool bar. Happy hour is on 3 times a day but little disappointed that there are no select cocktails included in that. Only beer wine and seltzer. Very good location and overall would stay again.
Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach was average overall. The hotel was in a convenient location, but the experience did not feel especially memorable or up to the level we expected. The room was clean and functional, but it felt somewhat dated and could benefit from renovations. The furniture, finishes, and overall design seemed older, and the room did not have the polished or upgraded feeling we expected from a Hilton property in Waikiki. It was comfortable enough for sleeping and getting ready, but it felt more basic than the photos and location suggested. The front desk experience was also inconsistent. Some interactions were perfectly fine, while others felt less welcoming and attentive. As a Hilton Diamond member, I expected a little more acknowledgment and consistency during check-in and throughout the stay. We were not expecting special treatment, but a warmer welcome and clearer recognition of Diamond status would have improved the experience. The property was not terrible, and it served its purpose, but it was simply a middle-of-the-road stay for us. Between the dated room and the spotty front desk service, it did not stand out compared with other Hilton properties we have visited. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach may work well for travelers mainly focused on location and who do not plan to spend much time at the hotel. However, guests looking for a more modern room or a higher level of service may find the experience underwhelming. For us, it was an acceptable stay, but probably not a property we would be especially excited to return to.
This is such a convenient and relaxing hotel. It's in the heart of Waikiki but not near the crowds. It's reasonably priced and right across the street from Target and a very short walk to the beach. We stayed right by Duke's and we felt safe and our belongings were fine. The room was comfortable enough for a family of 4, older kids. We got a $30 daily credit and enjoyed it in the market. The street noise wasn't to bad on the 16th floor but we did bring a sound machine for extra solitude. The market staff and concierge had positive attitudes and pleasant demeanor. I was hesitant because of the valet being the only option but it worked out. The valet was prompt and knowing my rental was safe was reassuring. We would definitely come here again.
They were able to check me in earlier which is a bonus. The front desk personnel were excellent and greeted us with big smiles. The valet guys were super nice. The rooms aren't exactly the same configuration you see on the pictures. If you get a suite, it has a solid wood door that separates the living room area. The sofa has a pullout bed. The mattress was quite worn and you tend to roll towards the middle. The lighting is quite dim in the living room. The refrigerator is quite large for a hotel. We had to have building maintenance switch out the air conditioning filters as they were covered in dust. Parking will be sticker shock 4 days with all the taxes added about $243. The location was perfect.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Honolulu. We will definitely be back! Perfect Location The location is absolutely fantastic. It is situated directly across the street from the International Market Place and is just one parallel street away from the world-famous Waikiki Beach. You are close to everything you need—shopping, dining, and the ocean. Modern & Spacious Rooms Our room was located on the 17th floor (fun fact: there is no 13th floor!) and offered a partial ocean view. Because of the buildings in front, the view is slightly restricted, but this was explicitly stated during the booking process, so it was exactly what we expected. The room itself was spacious, modern, and very clean. It featured a nice balcony with seating and a laptop-sized in-room safe which was free of charge. Great Amenities & Beach Gear The amenities included in the resort fee are definitely worth it: * 3rd-Floor Pool: A lovely area to relax after a long day. * Beach Towels: Readily available for guests. * Beach Gear Rental: You can rent two beach chairs and an umbrella every day, which is incredibly convenient for a perfect day at the beach. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Exceptional location, great comfort, and friendly service. We will gladly come back!
