What a special place! Michael and Greg have done a superb job of making the plantation B&B super clean, comfortable and quiet. The building and trim are very well appointed and the views and grounds are exceptional. Hannah makes a wonderful breakfast and Karolyn keeps the inn very clean. Loved our time there!
This BnB is PHENOMENAL!! The home is georgous! Very clean, very spacious, not to mention the views of the Ocean are fabulous! Hannah made breakfast in the morning, she was very kind and very informative, giving us reccomends to Captain Cook when we asked her for snorkeling advice. I highly reccomend booking your next stay with the Ka'awa Loa Plantation, you won't regret it!
We had a LOVELY time at this BnB. You should request a room with the Ocean view. The hostess Hannah is amazing. I still think about her breakfast spread. They are still careful about Covid but it's not really inconvenient (other than the luggage part). I will happily return!
We stayed in the private cottage. Perfect size for a couple. It’s a bit run down (the carpet and walls) but the bed was clean and comfy. One thing that needs immediate attention is the blinds that are currently in there are completely see threw in both day and night so there is zero privacy unless you are in the bathroom with the door closed. They did let me know they ordered the wrong blinds and new ones were coming but I think this is something that should have been fixed before our stay. The cottage is right next to the road where everyone drives in so everyone can see you and the bright headlights at night are brutal. You should also note there are large windows throughout and they do not close so this is an open concept with no ac. They had fans and lucky for us it wasn’t too warm on our stay but this is a style of glamping for some people. My main reason for the 3 stars is because the blinds and not being able to close the windows (not in the listing). The view from the shared balcony where breakfast is served is amazing. The staff was so kind and welcoming.
Great experience here! Really cute place, nice (but firm) bed, great breakfast and snack, really nice owners, great outdoor showers (there was also an inside one but we preferred the outdoor ones), free beach equipment to borrow, good places to hang out with a great view and vibes. Great nearby restaurants and snorkeling. Didn't use the hot tub or grill but they were available.
