Ko Olina Beach Villas Ocean Tower
Hawaii
Recenzje
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Ko Olina area, this is the one & better than the other resorts around. Centrally located to everything. The rooms are great! Pools & beach even better. Mahalo 🫶🏼
Ok let's keep in mind, we were visiting family who air bnb'd this location. Bar was fine, view was Beautiful. Very classy and luxurious. But, the staff was sour, now I hate to bring up race in any situation, that does not practice the separating or judging of race. But I will say there was a part played here.. there was no mention that under the pavilion that those tables were to be reserved. If you're paying more than 5k for a week's stay at a location, you would figure certain things would be allowed. We were never told that there were to be a limited amount of visitors. No more than (8). So they kicked us off the tables after we cooked and prepped food most the day. Once we set down there should have been someone to inform us we couldn't sit there. But no they let us stay for a bit. Once the food was done they stalked us, then decided to tell us to leave. It could have been avoided. Just inform one they saw us. And trust me they saw us. This ruined a party for a wedding. Family members pretty upset. Wether lack of communication, who knows. And I understand noise reduction. It's just about respect at that point. But we were to stay very quiet. I just want to say. If you go into this location. It's beautiful, but be very weary of your surroundings and walk on egg shells, you will be watched. This place is Def for the rich. I wouldn't go again.
The rental was great with a double set of glass doors that retreat into pockets on either side between the kitchen and the linae making it feel real open. We all felt that the pool and hot tub are should stay open till at least 10 pm or 12am or simply not be closed but be restricted on noise level only. But closing the pool/hot tub at 9pm simply put a damper on things. The beach in front of complex was beautiful and protected by a jetty of loose rock keeping it safe for swimming. The ride from the airport is about an hour without traffic delays but unfortunately unless you are travelling during off peak hours you will likely hit some traffic. And that is true so keep that in mind when planning excursions. Try and be back by 3pm or plan not to return till after 7pm.
We just spent a week here with a family of 5. Place is very small, kitchen was average , bar only has 1 bartender at all times so waits are 10-30 min per drink, and parking was nice and easy. The experience lacked the amenities that other stays have provided such as restaurants, slides, and top customer service. We had a few key cards go bad, and it took 30 min to get someone to get us a new one. Pools were fine, one was heated, others were sandy pools and cold. The beach was absolutely phenomenal in lagoon 2, and that’s what made this trip worth it! Go for the beach, but don’t expect a great room and resort experience. I’d look to the Marriott next door or 4 Seasons for my next Ko Olina trip.
We rented a 3 br in the Beach Tower and One in the Ocean Tower. Check in is hit and miss in either tower as each Villa is seperatley owned and operated. Finding the right elevator is a challenge in the Ocean Tower as there 8 and it is not clear which Villas are accesible from which elevator regardless of floor. The Beach Tower has two elevator allowing access to all villas in that Tower. Also the Beach Tower Villas are a bit bigger and more private and are closer to the Beach and the wading pools, hot tubs and a little Tikki Bar right off the lagoon.
