So delighted by this hotel, especially in contrast to its rating! Rooms have been remodeled and air conditioning was excellent. Cool bins for dirty and clean clothes on the bureau shelves — so much more practical than drawers. Elevator in good shape. Easy to park across the street in Courtyard’s secure lot and got a refund of the price difference. 25 for parking g is cheap compared to most hotels in congested areas. Quiet room and gorgeous ocean views. Nice cart for Kona coffee and pastries in the courtyard. Very pleasant and competent staff.
We had an absolutely incredible family staycation at PACIFIC 19 Kona! Travelling with my husband and kids can sometimes be a handful, but this hotel made our stay completely effortless and fun. A huge shoutout to Daniel and the staff—they were exceptionally welcoming, and went above and beyond from the moment we checked in.The hotel has a beautiful, modern open-air layout that instantly sets a relaxing island vibe. Our favorite part was definitely our balcony from our room, we had a stunning view looking over the entire Kona town and the outdoor pool right below us. Our room was clean, spacious enough for the family, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kids loved hanging out by the pool, and you truly cannot beat the central location for walking to nearby restaurants and ocean activities. We had a perfect stay and will definitely be back! ⭐️5/5 Recommend
This hotel is the definition of “mid”. It’s been recently remodeled in areas so it feels really nice (lobby, pool area, etc) but most of the rooms are in the style of “lipstick on a pig”. Hallways are dark, window AC units lack any sort of power, bathrooms meh, and decent amount of street noise. It’s by no means the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, not even in the bottom but most certainly in the middle of the pack. Being able to walk to some places nearby and having the ocean close is a nice plus but the payoff is more street noise.
Fantastic location! Beautiful property with amazing coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. So good and it’s free! The coffee cart outside had great muffins. Pool was nice too. The window unit in the room worked pretty well, I wasn’t sure it would keep up with the heat. The only downside was the little bugs in the room. I know it’s probably tough in a tropical climate to manage pests. The hallways are open airways, which allows for a lot of breeze to flow through. Parking was expensive, $25/day, considering the space was very limited. Very nice staff that were quick to respond to any request! Really enjoyed my stay there, would recommend to anyone going to KK. It was within walking distance to everything on the main strip of shops and restaurants!
