Great spot to see sunsets and sunrises - coral is sharp so be prepared to handle with care.
Spent the day with family having a picnic and watching the sunset. The waves were crashing and current pulled back strongly. Would not recommend littles to swim in, unless they're strong swimmers. However my local fam said the water isn't always like that here. My 10 yr old and I sat to the far right of the lifeguard tower, it felt like our own beach. Lots of locals surfing in the water. Showers are located outside of the bathrooms, makes it a little awkward to remove the sand from everywhere.
I love it because depending where you are gives you a different place to swim, kids area, fishing, surfing, jumping rocks, shallow areas so you have a mixture of choices just in that area
