Embassy Suites by Hilton Oahu Kapolei
Hawaii
Recensioner
This is a very nice hotel only about 10 years old located within walking distance of just about everything in Kapolei. However the property is due for a bit of a refresh. While our room was clean and spacious and everything was up to date, the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom were dated and showed scale or hard water stains on shower heads and such. We stayed on the premium floor as a family of 5 for two weeks and the housekeeping service was outstanding. Whatever we needed was only a phone call away and always arrived promptly. Breakfast was fantastic every day. For other meals we tried the in house restaurant the first day and it was ok, but there were so many other options in the area that we liked much better. Also, the furniture in the restaurant is pretty worn. The upholstery is showing its years of wear and is in need of a refresh. As for other amenities we used the gym and the laundry room quite often and found both to be very good. Minor disappointment was the swimming pool which is nice but very small and was overrun with small children everyday so we never used it. Overall this is a great hotel for a family travelling on a budget. Just don't expect to lounge quietly by the pool and if you're out walking be prepared to see a good number of homeless people. But on the bright side, the complimentary breakfast is awesome, everything in Kapolei is within walking distance, the property is clean, and the staff is friendly.
We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites Kapolei! Every staff member we encountered, especially at the front desk, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The daily happy hour was a great perk, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options and was a fantastic way to start each day. A special thank you to the housekeeping staff, who always greeted us with a warm "good morning" and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness and positive attitude really stood out and added to the overall experience. The excellent customer service from everyone made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oahu!
I chose this hotel because I didn't want to be in the hustle and bustle so I knew it wasn't beachfront. It was still so close to beaches we drove maybe 6 miles away to mermaid caves and watched the most beautiful sunset. Near a lot of stores and food. You are still just a few steps from most anything you need. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious. We had it on our 1at night (sprigs) the mahi mahi with caper sauce and the shrimp tacos was both fabulous! They have a lovely breakfast everyday and a nice relaxing evening reception we enjoyed a few times. The drinks are really good. Now to the staff and housekeeping...they was amazing!!! Our room was always so comfortable and nice and tidy when we would arrive back after a day out and the front desk ladies was so kind and helpful! They knew we was spending our anniversary with them and they made us feel soooo extra special!! even just messages to check on us throughout the stay. I honestly have nothing but good to say about this entire establishment and if I ever came back I would stay again.... Much mahalo!!
Nice, spacious room with plenty of sunlight. The hotel has a nice breakfast option with omelets made to order. There is an evening gathering option with snacks and two free drinks. There's also a somewhat shaded pool that has great island vibe. The hotel has a decent fitness and laundry facility. There is paid parking in the rear or free parking on the street.
I had a really great experience during my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The fitness center stood out — very clean with modern, up-to-date equipment that you don’t always find in hotels. Breakfast each morning was fresh and had a great variety, which made starting the day easy. Overall, the hotel felt well managed and welcoming. I’d absolutely return.
