Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki
Hawaii

This hotel is a little gem. Great value for money. I know some people are insufferable and entitled and will give low ratings because they're miserable humans. The great- location, staff (friendly/helpful), price, cleanliness, safe. The hotel decor/furniture is dated, but in good condition. Rooms are large, everything was super clean. I didn't see any hair or dirt anywhere. Storage was good for clothes, suitcases. Rooms had TV, microwave, fridge, safe. Water was hot right away, water pressure was good once we changed the shower setting. A/C was kind of loud, but I like the "white noise". Used the laundry facilities and they were super clean as well. The staff clearly takes pride in their hotel with how clean everything was. I never saw any trash/mess in or around the property. The location was close to shops/restaurants/transportation. We took the Waikiki trolley mostly, city buses a few times then had a rental car for 36 hours. The ONLY bad thing about the hotel was the bed. It was very hard. We stayed for a week and on day 3, bought a mattress topper at Target. Had sore hips the whole stay, but I'd still stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!!
I had such an awesome stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki during my trip. The location is perfect because it is just a short walk to the beautiful beach and tons of great places to eat. My room was super clean and cozy, and having a private balcony was amazing for chilling out after a long day of exploring. The pool area was a lot of fun to splash around in, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiled whenever I walked by. I would definitely stay here again.
I got one of the least expensive hotels on the beach in Hawaii and i feel like i got what I paid for but not in a terribly bad way. The hotel was room was clean and the bed was comforatble but that was about it for the room. It really was a no thrills, bare bones type of room. There wasnt even a floor board and furniture that looked cheap and tacky. For me, I'm fine with making these visual sacrifices for a hotel room as Hawaii is expensive to travel to. The self parking, compared to other hotels, was cheap however it seemed like it would be full at busier times of the year so if you come during the summer, definitely just take an uber or park overnight in a lot or garage somewhere else. The location was great for the price as I mentioned as well being in the heart of the downtrown district where all the shops are. If youre on a budget and dont mind a basic hotel room, this is definitely the place to go!
We loved our stay here! The room was great, housekeeping staff was phenomenal. Staying in this location gave us easy access to everything we wanted to do. Nothing was too far away. It was quiet and peaceful. We did have to park in overflow next door one night due to all of the parking at the hotel being full when we got back late one evening. This place is the best value for your stay.
This place truly deserves a 5-star rating ✨ The hotel was very clean, with daily housekeeping that kept the room fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is excellent—close to everything, especially the beach, making it very convenient to get around. The internet was also very fast and reliable, which made a big difference. Before booking, I saw some reviews saying the hotel felt a bit outdated, but honestly, I didn’t feel that at all. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable. The pricing is reasonable, and it seems to be one of the few hotels without hidden fees, which was a big plus. We compared several hotels before booking since we were staying for multiple days and didn’t want to take a risk. In the end, we chose this one—and it definitely did not disappoint.
