We had a pleasant stay at Skyline Island Colony Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. The rooms are a bit dated and could use updating, but overall it was a good stay.
don’t even think about it. Yes the price is cheaper than a resort but you’re better off just paying for one. The AC unit leaks, the room is so small, the bathroom isn’t even wide enough to open the door fully, our room was by a garbage disposal area and it stunk of garbage the whole time. It genuinely disappointed me to the max, the location is excellent but they definitely took advantage of that to make it less than acceptable.
I am amending my previous review, which was not very flattering. The majority of my complaint was having the hotel respond to the urgency of damage to our room from the horrible weather. I have since received a refund of the amenity dues you pay when you check it. That was very generous of the Hotel and is a very rare accommodation that I've not experienced with 5 star, on the beach priced hotels! I can't express how kind a gesture that is. One thing was said I think should be said here. Please, please, speak up to the front desk if there are any issues at all and they will do their very best to make your stay the best.
We actually did Airbnb. The owner of our room had high ratings so we booked it. Not a good host at all. They don't answer their phone and they gave us a wrong code for the door. We had to log all of our belongings and went up and down from 35th floor. Since we did Airbnb, the front counter could not help us which is understandable but still...finally got into our room. Room was descent but the bathroom was so small. Nice view and great location.
