Location, price, quality, and comfort were all met with this place. My friend recommended this place and so I trusted her when u made this decision to also book here. My check-in process was swift and efficient; my surprise was also getting a complimentary pineapple juice drink with an orchid. I felt appreciated immediately. My room was ready the moment I arrived and I loved the angle of my room and the city view that I had. The room amenities were exactly what I needed and the hotel breakfast has been one of the best I've ever had; wide variety of selection of food that's actually delicious and doesn't taste like usual hotel food. The beach amenities were also a huge help and plus. I didn't pack a towel so that was extremely helpful and cost effective. I actually looked forward going to my hotel at the end of the day not just because I was tired but because being there felt like it's own refuge. Every day the room was cleaned up and the bed made. Additionally it's right next to a bus stop which made getting around so easy along with being so close to great food and two blocks from the beach. Every day when I came downstairs or came back during the evening the staff was friendly and they always went above and beyond to ensure that I was good. As for the lobby computer center, I got to use it and had zero problems; usually there's a Wi-Fi problem in other hotels I've stayed in and here I had no problem whatsoever and I even got to print out a few documents I needed and didn't need to reach for help or anything. Housekeeping, valet parking, and everyone who works here is a kind soul. As a plus size solo traveler I have to say this is a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, and families. My parents also booked this place for their 50th anniversary and they were also met with wonderful service. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer because of work. Other than that, I loved staying here.
Great location only 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach. and had nice little perks! Some of my favorite things were that breakfast was included, the beach room is included in the price where they provide beach towels, sunscreen, umbrellas and beach chairs to use at the beach, and they had filtered water machines to fill water bottles. Also, the coffee at tge hotel was really good! The room was a little dated, but was the room was clean and the bed and pillows were confortable.
Our first time in Hawaii from the UK was to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and not only did we have a splendid time in Honolulu, but our stay at Vive Hotel Waikiki made the trip even more memorable. The location is excellent and also very affordable for those travelling on a budget. The hotel offers great extras and amenities, and those complimentary touches really show that the place is run with care. It doesn’t feel like just another business; there’s a very personable, almost family-like atmosphere. The staff are fantastic and incredibly accommodating. There is always someone at the front desk who is approachable and ready to help. They provide great advice and tips about local spots, and it was lovely hearing some of their personal stories about how they came to live in Hawaii, whether they were born there or moved from elsewhere. Everyone we encountered was happy, courteous, and hardworking, which creates a very welcoming vibe throughout the hotel. It also seemed to attract genuinely nice guests, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere during our stay. The breakfast was good fairly consistent each day but it’s nice knowing exactly what to expect. The complimentary tea, coffee, water, and access to the microwave were fantastic. These small conveniences really helped with budgeting, especially when bringing food back and enjoying a quiet dinner in the evening. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honolulu.
Everything about this place was exactly what we needed for our first time stay to Oahu. Our first interaction was the superstar valet and master Jeep parker, ARNEL, and we were greeted at check-in by a welcoming friendly face, Roger. The room was cozy and had everything we needed and the staff was prompt at fulfilling our needs. The morning complimentary breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The beach room has everything we needed to suntan and enjoy the water, which might I add is literally a less than five minute walk. The valet team, Arnel, Richard, and Tyler were professional rockstars at assisting us with our car as we stayed. We just absolutely loved every person we interacted with and are extremely grateful to you all for making our trip the best of our lives. Much love Vive Hotel Waikiki! Hope to see you all again soon. What an amazing stay at Vive Waikiki! All of the staff are so friendly and kind (shout out to Princess and Marshall at the front desk for their excellence!) The location is excellent, the breakfast is great, there are beach towels/chairs/etc. to borrow and water refill stations. Rooms and beds were so comfy (but head's up that the window AC units are loud, as is the street noise, if you are sensitive to that!) Highly recommend signing up to be a rewards member to get free extra amenities! Would definitely stay there again next time!
