Ka'ena Point State Park is one of Oahu's most remote tourist attractions being located at the end of Farrington Highway in Makua. Here you can enjoy a myriad of fun and interesting activities such as shore fishing, picnics, board surfing, body surfing, swimming, and many more. They even have a hiking trail along the volcanic coast of Makua.
Ka'ena Point State Park has plenty of amenities and features to offer like lifeguard services, restrooms, trashcans, and payphone services. Of course the fun and joy in coming to this place is going out for a swim or surfing, although swimming is only allowed during calm weather and favorable seasons. The hiking trail is 2.7-miles long and goes through popular locations and views like the tide pools, natural stone arches, and many more.
Ka'ena Point State Park is located at the end of Farrington Highway in Waianae. From this location you can go to popular tourist destinations like the Kaena Point Trail and Keawaula Beach to name a few. But there aren't many restaurants or accommodations nearby so you need to plan ahead before visiting this place.
