Also known as the Electric beach because of the nearby power plant, Kahe Point Beach Park is home to an abundance of underwater wildlife. This makes the beach a top snorkeling spot since you get to see exotic wildlife like rays, numerous fishes, turtles, and dolphins as well. Locals always recommend this spot for snorkeling and should be marked on your map if you're up for some exciting and fascinating time in Hawaii.
Kahe Point Beach Park can get a bit crowded because of its reputation as a top snorkeling spot but it is definitely worth the visit. Swimming here is also possible but be careful of the strong currents and try to stay at the rock wall. Parking is also available here along with picnic tables and benches which make it great for sunset viewing.
Kahe Point Beach Park is located along Farrington Highway in Kapolei whichi gives you a great view of the ocean as well as the nearby power plant. Kahe Point is also easily accessible from here and there are even other tourist destinations nearby as well, including Makaiwa Beach Park and more. There are hotels, accommodations, restaurants nearby but it will take a couple of minutes of driving at least.
