UNDER CONSTRUCTION....The website says renovated but as of 7/26 it was far from. Plywood hallways, virtually no lobby, workers everywhere and noise from power tools. I was on a conference call from my room at 9AM and had to cancel it as they couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. No consideration was given on rate, etc. They say it's listed on their website but they fail to paint the accurate picture. For the price, I'd look elsewhere.
The Outrigger was a disappointment, I will never stay here again. First of all, the renovation was overwhelming, waking up to hammering, drilling, pounding, etc., was a bit much. Now we know why the price was so cheap! Trust me, go elsewhere. Our room had the access panel fall off, exposed wiring, exposed metal studs, that was scary. Next, the lock protection was not screwed on properly ( according to the staff assistant who helped us) we were locked out of our room! The incident took 15-25 minutes for the staff member to unlock our room. The lock was removed, afterwards; our deadbolt on the door would not lock. I did not sleep knowing it wouldn’t lock. We had no iron or ironing board, clothes get wrinkled in suitcases. We had a steam iron that did not work! The width of the shower is so TINY, I kept hitting elbow on the shower door, OUCH! We had to flag down the pool attendant for cocktails, shouldn’t she ask EVERYONE “do you need anything?”. A child vomit in the pool, they closed the pool for 30 minutes! Is that the time limit for vomit in a pool? This wasn’t a relaxing vacation I had hoped for, it was a disaster. Never again,
Pretty awesome location and the staff is amazing. Right near international marketplace and on the beach. Only major annoyance is it's been under construction for our visit last year and this year and it's a lot of mess. Our rooms this year were in the newly remodelled floors and they had shrunk the rooms a bit (or the layout is less well laid out) and removed a bunch of storage. No microwave so leftovers aren't really salvageable. No freezer so same with desserts.
Wall is too thin. I can hear the cars outside. Party and music from the street. I can hear the room above, below, and Nextdoor. No water station at lobby or checked in. No coffee shop. Nah. Not cheap enough to not have all the convenient store or shop in the hotel. Good location that’s it.
