Currently has very noisy construction from 7am(looks almost completeas of 21/2/26 and quite a few homeless on the street just back from beach (run adjacent to apartments). Lets just say it makes for an excellent alarm clock, and cozy with the neighbours. Hotel itself very modern with excellent and updated facilities, quality range of condiments and service/check in was very competitive and effective via theyre personal web site. Comfortable bed, living room/kitchen and excellent bathroom. Mid size patio to watch the many construction workers currently occupying that street. Would stay again, A Hui Hou Edit" pricing is incredibly good value just 3min walk to the beach and some of the best short ribs just down the road.
This place was really close to the beach and all of the stores and malls that you will need. The room was really clean and spacious. A kitchen definitely made it feel like home away from home. The service was awesome as well! Very responsive when trying to reach them. Definitely would stay here again!
We rented a room from this place for 3 people. I think they added some price for the 3rd person as we expected they will be fixing the beddings and other stuff for the 3rd person which is understandable. Early check-in there’s additional fee of $35. Check-in time at 3pm and we’re there at around 12pm. We decided to just leave our bag in the car and go north of the island as they don’t have a place to leave your baggage at like in the hotel. This is more like an airbnb than a hotel. Also mo elevator. No problem with that, we understand. We got back from the north side and got inside our room around 9pm. The place was nice, big enough when the sofa bed is close and really tight when it was opened. There’s an issue with bathroom sink draining but we’re all understanding of those unexpected issue. What we were disappointed about and deducted 1 star is because when we opened the sofa bed, it’s full of sand and the bed sheet was dirty. It was noticeably unchanged. We tried to contact the host but they did not respond the whole night. One of us had to sleep in a dirty unchanged bedding, with that being said, we’re not sure if the pillow cases were changed as well. We paid extra to sleep in a dirty used bed. They did not even offer to replace it, their response the next day morning was an apology and they’ll let the cleaners know. We requested for a beddings change and they delivered the clean sheet around 9pm. We were asking for a follow up in the morning and afternoon for it and all we got is “please be patient”. So we had a dirty bed the whole night and the whole day. Also one of us used their provided “clean” towel and noticed after wiping his face that there was a curly hair sticking in the towel like a pubic hair. Cleanliness is literally 0 in this place. -1 star for the cleanliness, -1 star for the poor customer service. The location is convenient, the essentials are complete, the price is competitive. Cleanliness and poor customer support ruined our supposed to be relaxing vacation.
Location cannot he beat for the price. Parking is included if you book the terrace suite. The room and decor is very modern. Only suggestion is to include a few additional towels besides the 2 beach towels and 2 provided bath towels. Another blanket would also have been appreciated. Otherwise the stay was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. There is construction across the street, but that was non issue for me, but may be for others noise wise. Coin laundy was nice, wish there was a cash to coin exchange machine.
