Begin your afternoon tour in Hilo (right at the port or across the small bay at Reeds Bay parking lot) and head to a seaside Japanese garden. Continue to hidden beaches and waterfalls enjoyed by island locals, drive through a picturesque jungle, and stop for a leisurely walk through a tropical rainforest to world-renowned 'Akaka Falls (some steps on the paved trail).
Enjoy Hilo's own Big Island Candies, and then have some fun in the sun on the Big Island's unique black sand beaches. Time permitting, take a quick dip amongst the most colorful sea life on the planet, while your guide takes less adventurous guests to nearby coves often teeming with sea turtles.
