Description
Begin with a scenic drive through Kohala's lush landscape, passing the plantation towns of Hawi and Kapa’au, where the King Kamehameha Statue stands. Arriving in the historic town of Hawi, embark on an off-road trip to a private nature reserve once used as a sugarcane plantation.
At the trailhead, take a one-mile guided walk along a private stream featuring waterfalls and natural pools suitable for swimming. After hiking, cool off with a swim beneath a waterfall. The tour concludes with a picnic lunch at a secluded overlook, offering expansive views of Kohala’s valleys and sea cliffs.
