Description
Escape Waikiki and experience some of Oahu’s most beautiful scenery on a relaxed small-group half-day adventure. From dramatic coastlines and volcanic landscapes to the lush Koolau Mountains, this tour is a great way to see more of the island without giving up your entire day.
Your journey begins with convenient pickup from Waikiki in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Your first stop is Diamond Head Lookout, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the coastline.
Next, stop at Leonard’s Bakery Malasada Truck in Hawaii Kai, where you’ll have the option to purchase one of Hawaii’s famous malasadas before continuing along the scenic southeastern coast. Malasadas are included in the tour price.
Continue to Halona Blowhole Lookout, where you can see the dramatic volcanic coastline and look down toward beautiful Eternity Beach. From there, travel along the coast to Makapuu Lookout for sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Rabbit Island, and Oahu’s windward side.
The tour then continues through beautiful Waimanalo, with a stop at a local gift shop where you can browse Hawaiian gifts and souvenirs.
Next, visit a local Macadamia Nut Farm, where you can enjoy the tropical setting and browse a selection of Hawaiian macadamia nut products and local treats.
From there, enjoy the changing scenery as you travel toward the lush Koolau Mountains. Your final major stop is the historic Nuuanu Pali Lookout, famous for its incredible views over windward Oahu and the dramatic mountain landscape.
After Pali Lookout, relax on the drive back to Waikiki, completing your approximately four-hour scenic half-day tour.
With a small group, comfortable transportation, scenic stops, and plenty of opportunities for photos, this tour is an easy and enjoyable way to experience the southeastern and windward sides of Oahu in just half a day.
