Description

Begin with hotel pickup on Kauai’s north and east shores, traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned van with large windows for scenic views of beaches, mountains, and waterfalls.

Stop at Opaekaa Falls, known locally as the “rolling shrimp” falls, and visit sacred heiau sites. At the Wailua River, board a spacious open-air riverboat for a gentle cruise to the Fern Grotto. A short rainforest walk leads to this geological site where ferns grow upside down on lava rock walls, accompanied by traditional Hawaiian music and hula performances.

Visit the Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge to observe seabirds, with full entry available on Wednesdays and a lookout visit on Mondays. Continue along the coastline to see other notable locations such as Hanalei, Anini Beach, and the Sleeping Giant formation.
