From July 14 to December 8, 2025, Waimea Canyon will be closed for maintenance. During this period, the tour includes a stop at Pu‘uhinahina Lookout, providing an alternate vantage point of the canyon with extra photo opportunities along the route.

Under normal conditions, the tour visits the Waimea Canyon Lookout, a canyon 10 miles long and 3,000 feet deep, formed by erosion over hundreds of thousands of years. Next, see the Kalalau Valley from Kalalau Lookout, one of Hawaii’s most photographed valleys.

The tour continues to the Spouting Horn, a coastal blowhole where waves force water through narrow lava rock openings, creating natural water sprays and horn-like sounds. Finally, the scenic drive passes through the Tree Tunnel, a mile-long canopy of over 500 eucalyptus trees.
