Description

Travel in luxury on a one-of-a-kind, 90-minute private helicopter tour showcasing towering volcanic mountains, gushing waterfalls, and the extraordinary Kohala Coast. Enjoy a 60-minute private landing with a chef-prepared gourmet meal featuring champagne, local Hawaiian juices, Ka’u coffee chocolates, and flower leis. The 90-minute flight begins over the crystal clear waters and vibrant reefs of Kailua Bay. Departing the bay, the world’s largest active volcano, Mauna Loa, the “Long Mountain,” looms into view. The flight continues to the remarkable features of the Ka'upulehu Crater and the impressive Hualalai volcano. Off in the distance the “White Mountain,” Mauna Kea, rises 13,796 feet above sea level, dominating the northern half of the island. The oldest of Hawai’i Island’s five volcanoes, Kohala, appears, and from its volcanic landscape emerges the Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve, home to native plants and animals. Passing over the forest reveals the breathtaking Kawaihae and Kohala Coasts. It is along the breathtaking Kohala Coast that you will touch down for your private 60-minute landing overlooking the ocean. The stunning natural beauty of the lush gardens and panoramic ocean view offer the perfect romantic getaway. Enjoy a private landing with a chef-catered gourmet lunch or dinner featuring champagne, local Hawaiian juices, Ka’u coffee chocolates, and flower leis. Returning to the air, take in the lush Pololu and Waimanu Valleys and the flowing waters of the Laupahoehoe Nui and Wai’ilikahi waterfalls. Waipio Valley’s black sand beach is the last stop along the Kohala coast before following the trail of waterfalls back to the golden sands of Anaehoomalu Bay, the aquamarine waters of Kiholo Bay, and the secluded beauty of Makalawena Beach. This is an unforgettable experience that includes everything that makes Hawai’i special - stunning volcanoes, magnificent waterfalls, and ocean views.
