The Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary, family-founded and managed since 1982, provides guided walking tours led by expert naturalists. Visitors explore Hawaii’s unique dry-winter tropical montane cloud forest, home to a diverse range of native, endemic, and global species thriving together. As mist drifts through the canopy, the tour covers the area’s geology, ecology, cultural history, and human impact, along with the Sanctuary’s ongoing restoration and preservation efforts.
