The queen later decided to give this land to the city of Honolulu for all to enjoy and since then this place has become home to native Hawaiian plants. Lili'uokalani Botanical Garden features 7 ½ acres of garden grounds where you can go strolling and even set up for picnics. This garden also features the Nuuanu stream and waterfalls which is really lovely to look at and a great place for meditating and picture taking.
