Set against the backdrop of the nightly sunset at Ocean’s Edge in Ko Olina, Kaula Luau blends traditional cultural expression with modern lighting, projection, and stagecraft. The show unfolds as a cohesive narrative weaving Hawaiian, Tahitian, and Samoan music, dance, and acrobatics, anchored by the story of a kupuna (grandmother) and her granddaughter exploring their Pacific heritage.
The performance integrates mele (song), oli (chant), and hula to honor ancestry and identity. Guests become part of the experience through immersive cultural activities and competitions.
This event focuses on connection—to ancestors, stories, and place—offering a respectful and engaging insight into Polynesian traditions.
The dining experience includes a traditional Hawaiian feast prepared by local favorite Moani, accompanied by handcrafted cocktails from Island Distillers.
