Description
The tour begins at sunrise with a visit to Pearl Harbor’s WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument and USS Arizona Memorial. Experience the history and heroism of the 1941 attack as you take a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial structure, viewing the battleship resting beneath the harbor.
Next, travel through central Oʻahu past Wheeler Airfield, a notable site from the Japanese attack, before continuing to the North Shore. Stop at the Historic Dole Plantation to feed koi fish or enjoy a frozen pineapple treat. The tour passes through small North Shore towns, highlighting surf spots like Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay with engaging local stories.
Then head to the Nuʻuanu Pali cliffs, where you can appreciate the rugged landscape and its historical significance tied to the Battle of Nuuanu. Finally, return towards Honolulu, passing the Halona Blowhole area. Your guide will share island folklore and history throughout the day, providing insights for all ages.

Important Information
- Allow 20 minutes for pick-up and arrival. Shirt and shoes are required at the USS Arizona Memorial; swimsuits, dresses, high heels, and short skirts are not recommended.
- Bags are not allowed in the Pearl Harbor visitor center; storage is available for $7–10 per item.
- On rare occasions, boat operations to the USS Arizona Memorial may be suspended by the Navy. In such cases, you can still visit exhibits, films, the visitor center, and park monuments.
- Preservation work may limit access to the USS Arizona Memorial. Boat tours are operated by the National Park Service and subject to change without notice. Visitor center and museum exhibits remain open.
- Children 2 years and under participate free of charge.
