Fantastic stay while in Oahu. All of Waikiki is walkable and this hotel is near one end of the main strip. Hotel was doing balcony renovations so that's why they lost a star as the noise, lack of a view, and random guys passing/on our balcony really hurt the experience. The staff is phenomenal and the amenities are exactly what you need for this type of vacation. It helps if you have elite Bonvoy status as you'll get a few more perks. The rooms look to be recently renovated as of summer 26. Enterprise is on site. I recommend setting several one day rental reservations instead of paying for parking each night.

This hotel has exceeded all our expectations. The rooms are large and spacious. They are modern and very clean. We had a king sized bed, a table, a sofa bed, 2 balconies with table and chairs facing different directions, a large closet, and small fridge. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the lobby area is clean and free beach towels are plentiful. There is a $20 fee per towels if not returned. The location is perfect - 1 block off the beach and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. The tour trolly stop is right outside the front door. There is an ABC store and Starbucks in the lobby for quick stops. There is a really good coffee shop right outside the hotel as well.

I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend using a Marriott free night award, and the point redemption value was worth it (you just pay the resort fee). Please note that this is just based on my personal experience, as I know other reviews have mentioned some less than ideal experiences here. Location: It’s literally right in front of the beach. It sits towards the end of the Waikiki strip, which is fine. Highly accessible location but a bit more relaxed. The front desk staff immediately set a great, laid-back island vibe.Plus, if you're traveling to or from the airport, the bus stop is right in front and not far at all. Beach: Waikiki Beach can definitely get crowded, but you can rent a beach chair since it's included in your resort fee (though I didn't end up using the pool at all). The Room: I’ve stayed at several hotels in Waikiki, and this room was clean, spacious, and cozy. It had everything you need, though note that there is no microwave. We had an ocean view room with a balcony, and the view was so gorgeous we barely wanted to leave. (Bonus: You can request slippers) Service: Incredibly attentive. Our mini-fridge was acting a bit weak, and they immediately brought a replacement to our room without any hassle. The website/app does state they are doing balcony construction, but it's only during weekdays, so we had no issues at all over the weekend. Between the comfort, accessibility, and excellent customer service, this Marriott is great. I’d absolutely stay here again for a good point deal and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Waikiki Marriott Resort & Spa. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making our vacation very enjoyable. I would have rated our stay a 10/10. The only reason I did not give a perfect score was that during our last two nights, a large group of teenagers moved into the room next to ours. They were loud late at night, including playing music around 11 PM, which disrupted our sleep. The front desk responded promptly when I called and sent security to address the situation, which I appreciated. Aside from that issue, our experience was excellent. I would recommend that the hotel review quiet-hour policies with guests at check-in to help prevent similar situations in the future. Overall, we had a great stay and would gladly return.
