Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens is one of the most beautiful and lush gardens in Oahu. Designed and built by the U.S. Army Corps Engineers, Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens was intended to protect Kaneohe from flooding. This garden is perhaps the most diverse in Oahu since it houses a myriad of plants from all over the world including, Malaysia, Philippines, Africa, India, and many more.
Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens has plenty to offer for its visitors and they even have amenities to make it easier for them to enjoy the garden. They have an exhibition hall, lecture rooms, camping grounds, visitor center, and more. They also provide guided nature hikes, family fishing, picnics, and tent and tarp rental services.
Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens is located at Luluku Road in Oahu which is close to the city making it a really convenient place to go to when looking for a great time in Hawaii.
