Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapu'u Point Lighthouse is one of Hawaii's oldest lighthouses, open for the first time on October 1, 1909. The trail itself is gorgeous with pathways that run along the ocean and is considered an easy trail by most hikers. At the end of the trail is the lighthouse itself which is great for taking pictures of the stunning scenery.

Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail is located on Makapuu Head at the easternmost point of Oahu. From here it's just a few minutes away from amazing tourist destinations such as Sea Life Park Hawaii, Koko Crater, and Hawaii Kai Golf Course. You can also see Rabbit island from here and the view here is absolutely stunning.
