The admission is free and not to mention it is less crowded compared to other beaches and not to mention it has plenty of various sea creatures to marvel at. Snorkeling in Sharks Cove is a great way to spend your vacation in Oahu and you'll be treated to various depths of the waters here and you can even go for swims as well.
As stated earlier the admission here is absolutely free but it can only be accessible during the summer where the waters are calm since during winter the waves are too big thus making it unsafe. There is also free parking in front of the cove, restrooms, and showers available here. You can view a variety of underwater wildlife here and that even includes sharks, turtles, and more. But remember to only observe wildlife and never disturb them for safety and environmental reasons.
Sharks Cove is located along Kamehameha Highway in Pupukea which is just a few minutes away from key locations and popular tourist destinations. From here there are also numerous restaurants, hotels, and even resorts nearby to enjoy. Being situated on the highway makes it easy for travelers to go from different places after enjoying their visit at Sharks Cove.
