Mochiko chicken is good. Very crowded. Most of the customers just do take out because there is only 3 sets of tables of 4,6,6 people. Workers are not friendly but working hard. Parking is tight in this side. The lady just hit our car when she opened her door. Roast pork, not as good as some other plate lunch places.
Overall, not a bad plate lunch joint. I liked their chicken katsu and pork adobo. Their other chicken and pork dishes are passable. Portion sizes were a little smaller than expected for the price. In general, the sides we got were mediocre. Should have tried the mac salad. Service was ok. They don’t answer their phone so we couldn’t call our order in and had to go there in person to order.
Wanted some local grindz. Decided to give this place a try. Glad we did. The chicken was really good. Tried garlic, thai, katsu and furikake. Wish there was more chicken in the portions. Lots of rice. Never had Mac salad made with spaghetti noodles. My daughter got the burger and fries she really liked it. My husband got the loco moco. It was really tough. Over all the taste of chicken was really good, just wish there was more of it.
I came in today excited to try their amazing chicken plate lunches and I got the garlic and furikake chicken with rice and Mac salad. This was amazing and so tasty good!!! I LOVED the furikake the best and their Mac salad is so good! Thank you for such amazing yummy food! Mahalo nui loa
