Was the first restaurant I went to on my trip to Kona and went more times during my stay. The food is one of the best I’ve tasted here and the service has always been fast and everyone we’ve encountered here whether staff or even customers dining have been amazing. I wish the stars were out of 10/10.
Spot on in every area!!! Beautiful view! Great staff!! Wonderful menu! I had the clam chowder and it was perfect in every way! Delicious!!! My husband had the fish and chips and it was very tasty!! Tarder sauce is house made! Clean bathrooms!
Fish Hopper Kona is a nice restaurant with delicious food and out of this world deserts. We tried the German Chocolate, Guava strawberry cakes, the creme brulee, and the carrot cake. WOW. We're going back to try some other bites. Their Kona burger was delicious as well. Service was good and attentive.
Great food. I was here 10 years ago and 15 years ago. Everything is still great. The Ono and Yellow Fin Tuna are excellent. Coconut shep were huge and fresh. Drinks are smooth. The potato cake with the Ono was under cooked, but still had flavor
Fresh Flavors and Stunning Views at Fish Hopper. If you are looking for a dining experience that perfectly captures the spirit of Kona, Fish Hopper is a must-visit. From the moment you sit down, you are greeted by a beautiful, unobstructed ocean view that makes for an incredible backdrop to any meal. The food certainly lives up to the scenery. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Ono; it was prepared perfectly—fresh, flavorful, and a true highlight of the local seafood offerings. What really made the visit stand out, however, was the exceptional service. My server, Nico, was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was timed perfectly throughout the meal. It is rare to find such a great balance of a world-class view, delicious cuisine, and genuine hospitality. I will definitely be back!
