2nd time here and even better than the first! Justin was our waiter and was phenomenal! The views, the food the atmosphere all the staff! Hostess and water filler, we have absolutely no complaints. The views and sunset are breathtaking. We got the ahi tuna bruschetta, homemade mac n cheese the Greek salad and the fish of the night. Fav restaurant so far!
Truly spectacular. The staff was incredible. I wish I could remember our server’s name but Honu if you reply please help me figure it out. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on 6/11 and the staff was kind enough to video record my wife’s expression to a ring upgrade. Food was phenomenal and had a hard time choosing, but our waitress helped us narrow it down to the best dishes. I highly recommend Honu. Only complaint is that I could not get an ocean side table due to seating efficiency by the Honu crew. Even upon request. But one table over did not disappoint our evening. Thank you Honu. When we’re back in Maui, we will most certainly return.
We had a really great night at Honu for my bday dinner! Amazing oceanside table, excellent friendly service from Justin T! The manager Pam was very friendly, polite and welcoming. The food and drinks were top notch all the way around with a super great menu. Mahi Mahi was maybe the best we had all week on the island. Delicious clean fresh oysters. Octopus was flavorful , unique, and cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed my tender beef short rib. And the BEST beef carpaccio we ever had!! Staff Really went above and Beyond. Wonderful night bay view was so relaxing. I knew by the Bill Murray sign that we were in the right place. We had a very memorable night on our vacation. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Cheers
What an outstanding restaurant! This place ticks literally every box for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff is knowledgeable (Astrid is especially lovely!), prompt, friendly and unobtrusive. The food is perfectly balanced and delicious. The wine list has a trousseau by the glass! The manager came by multiple times to see how we were enjoying ourselves. (And it was rather busy night!) We were blown away!
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This was by far the most incredible meal I have ever had at any restaurant & my boyfriend agrees. So good, that we got an additional entree to go for a “midnight snack.” Astrid was our waitress & she was incredible, along with all the other staff! You can tell how everyone pays such close attention to detail. Justin, the owner, was such a pleasure to meet & ensured our dining experience was perfect. And you can’t forget the oceanfront view and sunset - the cherry on top to this night! 1000/10 recommend & we will definitely be back! Thank you all for such an amazing experience!
