To begin your tour, head to the activity hub for check-in. Receive instruction on where to park, where to access the ocean safely, kayaking tips, and the nature and cultural significance of the area. Then, load the kayaks onto your vehicle with provided foam pads and straps. Drive to Kailua Beach Park, unload the kayak, and meet your guide in the water. Kayak in Kailua Bay to the Mokulua Islands and listen to your guide’s commentary about local marine life and history. Keep your eyes peeled throughout the tour for animals like sea turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, tropical fish, and sea birds. Upon arrival at Moku Nui, get out of your kayak and discover the only island in the Mokulua Islands that is possible to visit.
