Arriving for dinner at 6:30 PM, I was seated right next to the beach with a fantastic view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The location and views are truly stunning, complemented by a nice tropical breeze throughout the evening. The check-in personnel and my waiter were very professional, and I even received a personalized letter from the restaurant after dinner thanking me for choosing them and acknowledging our conversation during the meal. The meal started with fresh, soft bread and butter that tasted great, alongside a house cocktail featuring exceptionally balanced flavors. The chilled bisque was a refreshing starter, followed by a satisfying carbonara that featured generous cuts of prosciutto. The pork tenderloin met every expectation, arriving tender and packed with flavor, and the chocolate sacher torte finished the evening on an excellent note. Opting for the four-course pacing proved ideal, leaving me completely satisfied by the end. The restaurant offers an absolutely stunning location paired with a nice indoor dining and bar area. I wouldn't hesitate to log another visit on my next trip to Honolulu.
My wife and I recently enjoyed the four-course tasting menu with the wine pairing at Azure, and the entire evening was fantastic from start to finish. The oceanfront setting created an amazing atmosphere - elegant and relaxing without feeling overly formal. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Highlights included the Ahi & Kampachi Carpaccio, Crusted Kampachi, Pork Tenderloin, and the Chocolate Torte to finish the evening. The wine pairing was also very well done, with each selection complementing the dishes perfectly. A special shoutout to our server, Jan, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and helped the evening flow perfectly without ever feeling rushed. Between the outstanding food, thoughtful wine pairings, exceptional service, and beautiful beachfront ambiance, Azure delivered a memorable dining experience for both of us. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a special dinner in Waikiki.
We ordered the 4 course meal, and it did not disappoint. Despite several dietary restrictions, Kevin, our waiter, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He even made multiple trips to the kitchen to ensure our preferences were fully taken into account. The standout dish for me was the snapper, it was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior, a delicious smoky flavor, and a wonderfully satisfying texture. Overall, the meal and service exceeded our expectations.
From the initial greeting by the weight set when we got there and our waiter Scott, service was just impeccable. We chose a four course dinner and truly enjoyed every one of our entrees. The food was magnificent. Anyone in the Waikiki area that is looking for an intimate dinner with a partner/significant other/husband/ wife, this is the place to go!
Even though it is a little cloudy the beach setting is just fabulous. Great set menu for two. Delicious food and beyond satisfactory service by our waiter Jann! Mahalo!
