If you’re looking for a classic North Shore breakfast stop, Kono’s absolutely deserves a visit. I stopped in for one of their breakfast burritos, and it did not disappoint. It was hot, packed with flavor, generously filled, and easily one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve had on Oahu. The salsa was fresh and complemented the burrito perfectly without overpowering it. It’s the kind of breakfast that fuels you for a day of exploring the North Shore. One thing that really stood out—besides the food—was their merchandise. Kono’s has some of the coolest restaurant swag I’ve seen anywhere. Their surfing pig logo is uniquely Hawaiian, fun, and instantly recognizable. I found myself spending almost as much time looking at the shirts, hoodies, stickers, and hot sauce as I did eating. If you like taking home something that reminds you of your trip, it’s worth checking out before you leave. The location is another big plus. My recommendation is to make Kono’s a breakfast stop. Parking around Haleʻiwa can become pretty limited later in the day, but arriving in the morning makes finding a spot much easier. If the restaurant is busy and all the tables are taken, don’t worry—that might actually work in your favor. There are several beautiful beaches just a couple of minutes away where you can take your burrito, enjoy the ocean breeze, and have breakfast with one of the best views on the island. That’s exactly what I did, and it turned a great meal into an unforgettable North Shore morning. Great food, friendly atmosphere, awesome merchandise, and an ideal location. Kono’s has earned a spot on my list of places I’ll return to every time I’m back on Oahu. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend 👍 trying their Haleiwa 12-hour slow-cooked Kalau Pork Bomber 🐷 and coffee ☕. The coffee is smooth and creamy. Definitely, going back there!

It's the only place we could find quickly that served any type of American breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs. The breakfast was ok the breakfast burrito I was told was really good. Indoor seating and outdoor seating, we chose outdoor seating because the music inside was just blasting.

Ooh that Limeade! Sour sweet. I was surprised to see biscuits and Gravy on the menu so I decided to try ordering it. Delicious choice it proved to be! Would definitely go again. They had a lot of photos of people who got tattoos of their logo, proving its a local favorite. I didn't know they also have restaurant ls on the mainland.
