Nice place! It was my first time here. I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday weekend after finishing my first ever trip to a Hawaiian Island (just happened to be at the end of a business trip) and was specifically looking for a single slice of vegan cake. Turns out that it is difficult to find a place that does that there near the Waikiki area on the island. I recommend the tricolor vegan cheese cake. The portion of the cake slice may seem kind of small for the price but it was moist and delicious. I had called earlier to see if it was in stock but they said they were out so I decided I'd go there anyway to try out the vegan brownie or chocolate cake that they had. When I arrived and to my surprise, they had made another batch of the vegan tricolor cheese cake! It sounded like someone had ordered a whole cheese cake and there were leftovers so I just happened to luck out with that. It was my birthday weekend that day so getting that tri color vegan cheesecake that I had originally wanted made it a special experience for me. So yeah this restaurant may possibly be the only one that sells vegan cakes by the slice in/near the Waikiki area. 🍰 The way they had decorated the restaurant with the painting and other colorful art was just beautiful and kinda mesmerizing. Both ladies that had helped me at the register were super nice, friendly and comfortable to talk to. There were lady customers there dining and having thoughtful chats with one another and I just felt a nice welcome, relaxing and thoughtful vibe there. 👍 I also had tried the vegan matcha soft-serve which I think comes in one size. It was very good. I also tried a what may have been a hummus sandwich. It was ok but the bread part of the sandwich made it a bit dry. Not to say that the bread was stale but I guess I'm more of a moist or wet food kinda person. Sometimes it may be difficult to find someone at the register. When I went to the register again to buy more food, I found that the lady that was working the register was on her lunch break eating at a table and I didn't want to disturb her and there wasn't anyone available in the kitchen who had immediately came to the register to help me order another item. So I had waited for like a good minute or two standing there but it's all good.

This is a cute little vegan cafe. The food was excellent and included a lot of gluten-free options. I really enjoyed my bowl, dessert, and tea. The only drawback here was that seating was very limited around lunch time. It's counter service but then a little tricky to find a place to sit once you have your food. Fortunately the other customers are friendly and didn't mind me joining another party's table. I'd say this cafe is 10/10 for takeout and maybe 6/10 for lunch rush dine in. No parking lot but the metered street parking wasnt too bad.

I saw this place on the map and had to try it out. I had the mapu katsu with tempeh. It was very good! The tempeh was crispy and the mapu was flavorful. Not bad for $20 as it fed me twice. Would come back.

Located right off King Street next to Old Stadium Park, Peace Cafe Hawaii is a cozy spot for homemade vegan food. This cafe is 100% vegan and make almost every item by hand. Started from simple concept of the wish for peace on earth- a peaceful harmony amongst man, animals, and nature. They use local ingredients and support local farmers. Love that they commit to being: Sugar free, only use organic sunflower seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil and they have gluten free, soy free and oil free choices. Ordered the Katsu curry plate, the yakisoba, and the BLT sandwich. All great options and were healthy and delicious. Parking is limited to street parking so it may be difficult to find a spot to park.
