Can’t beat the vibes at The Crouching Lion. Great service and food came quickly from the kitchen. The curry was unavailable leaving limited options for a vegetarian. While the food was good, the prices seemed a little excessive ($10 for half a purple Potatoe or 5 pieces of asparagus is excessive). Regardless, we still plan to go back and really enjoyed our meal. We had a special guest gecko who enjoyed our spicy chips with us. I hope they didn’t burn his stomach like they burned mine (twice if you know what I mean).
If you're cruising along the coast and want a spot that’s tasty, atmospheric, and scenic, look no further. The large staff is happy to seat you wherever you prefer and provides excellent service. We’re so glad we stumbled upon this place—it offers Japanese cuisine and is perfectly located along many routes. The interior is fascinating, filled with lion figures everywhere, so you could easily spend a couple of hours just taking it all in. And as for the view, it's absolutely breathtaking. We’re planning to come back after dark because they say it’s just as beautiful at night.
Everything we ate here was absolutely amazing. The Crouching Lion feast was a great way to sample the whole menu, but we had to get to go boxes. So much delicious food! Great service, Angela was wonderful. And the live music was such a good vibe. Definitely coming back!
We had an incredible/ unforgettable experience at Crouching Lion! We especially enjoyed the grilled dishes, salmon, and fresh catch of the day. Please order the focaccia bread! The service was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the beautiful location, great atmosphere, quality food, and spectacular ocean view. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting and was one of the highlights of our trip!
We enjoyed a wonderful evening at The Crouching Lion, Oahu, Hawaii. Our server Yann was excellent suggesting delicious items from the menu. The atmosphere is beautiful with tiki and other lighting amidst a backdrop of palms overlooking the ocean. The live music was sung by a beautiful girl doing great covers. This is a place to which we will be returning!
