Got shoyu poke with ahi tuna ($14.95 as of April 2026) and it was good. I loved it so much, I kept coming back to Sato a few times while on vacation because the tuna was fresh and buttery. The food arrives fast. Loved the art work inside and outside, too
The Dragon Bowl was perfect! I lived in Japan from 2016-2020 and the shrimp tempura instantly transported me back, it was made perfectly. Best Shrimp tempura I've had in years.
The macadamia salmon poke was incredible. My wife really enjoyed her yuzu miso salmon poke too. Friendly, fast service and affordable too!
We loved it so much we came twice! Main differentiator is that it felt like Japanese style poke. Odd to say, but the rice in particular was the standout because of the quality. I’d recommend trying if you can appreciate rice of a higher calibre, and simple but fresh ingredients. Very limited seating but you get to enjoy people watching the long line for marugame udon 😅
Quite pricey as expected in Waikiki, but the poke here was delicious! I got the Hawaiian Munchies bowl, which had the freshest ahi tuna and lots of crunchy bits on top.
