Real good aesthetic bar/grill. Takes about 15-20mins to get your food. Servers were nice and on top of getting us water and asking if we’re okay. The Salmon- was a 6.9/10. The fish itself was very soft and broke apart easily and the skin came off smoothly. The dish itself had pasta with pepper, lemon, butter, tomatoes, onion, and peas. Didn’t taste very fish like which was good, but the noodles had little to no flavor. Overall decent place to go out and dress casual/old money. Didn’t get drinks but they have a bar and do all sorts of drinks.
Our couple came to Hawaii from Korea for a trip. After swimming at Kailua Beach Park and feeling exhausted, we stopped by Formaggio Grill because it looked the most delicious. She welcomed us warmly with a big smile and was incredibly kind. She recommended menu items for us, and most of all, we really enjoyed talking together and spending such a pleasant time there. Both the food and the service were excellent. We highly recommend this place!
Great service, great atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I got the kono pork pasta and my husband got the Ribeye over fries. They were both so good. The pasta is different from the pastas I usually eat and it's probably one of my favorite I've ever tasted! The calamari and house salad were also a must order. The calamari is cooked crispy and the sauce is perfect with it. Definitely come eat here!!!
Very nice place. Service was great. The food was delish. We had the salmon piccata and the Wagyu burger. The only negative was the lack of adequate parking. We had to drive around and ended up parking across the street in another shopping center.
With a power outage in Kailua, my wife and I decided to scourer the suburb for somewhere fitting to dine out. Formaggio Grill was the choice. We have dined here before and always been impressed with the service, the wine and the food….., did I mention they have live music every Friday and Saturday night….!!! We ordered the Bistecca Griglia - a fabulous sizzling steak, tomato and onion dish. Half way through cooking the power outage struck and darkness fell upon all of us. The meal didn’t disappoint and was on point and beautiful.
