Set off on a fun-filled hiking adventure through the dense Hawaiian rainforest and discover Maui’s breathtaking waterfalls. Ignite your inner adventurer as you leap into pools from rock ledges and learn about this scenic region from your naturalist guide. Meet your guide outside of Kahului, then head to the trailhead to begin your hiking adventure. Follow two streams through the lush rainforest of East Maui, passing three to five waterfalls. The falls range from 3 to 12 meters high, and you can even jump from rock ledges into some of the pools. Refresh yourself with a dip in the cool waters, and savor a well-deserved picnic lunch beside the majestic falls. Along with your included lunch, enjoy some snacks and bottled water while taking in your beautiful surroundings. Admire local flora and fauna and learn about the cultural significance of plants such as the ti leaf, bamboo, taro plant, and others from your naturalist guide.
