Description
Explore a secluded stargazing site on Mauna Kea’s slopes, unavailable to other tours that operate near busy roads. This tour offers exclusive access miles from any highway.
At the meeting point, you’ll receive a parka jacket and an introduction to the location from your guide. Using a green laser pointer, the guide identifies constellations, planets, and other celestial objects, with a chance to see shooting stars.
Your guide will photograph the best night sky objects with an astro-modified camera for you to view later. You will also pose for 2-3 astro-photos featuring you against the starry background, which are professionally edited and sent to you after the tour at no extra cost.
