Please please please check your bag before you leave, I got the ceviche and the crab dip. They didn’t include my 5 tostadas and I had to ask them for the sauce (both are listed as included on the menu). Definitely dampen the experience.
They are known for their ceviche, and it is great. However, their Poké bowl that comes with crab and ceviche is the biggest, best Poké bowl that I experienced on Oahu! Stop and get some. The food trucks are hot. Da Seafood Cartel has got a little A/C. You can also take your food down to Hale’iwa bottle shop and enjoy a nice cold beer. Go eat here. Keep them around!
This place was one of my must eats while in Hawaii and it did not disappoint! Flavor explosions. And the staff was amazing. Even brought out extra sauce she thought we'd enjoy. Will definitely eat here every time we are in Hawaii.
We have been craving Ceviche ever since he got to Hawaii and heard about Da Seafood Cartel from lots of people. We saw it as we were driving by and decided to stop in and check them out. We preferred from the delightful lady at the counter and she answered all our questions. The shop is small but there are tables inside and outside. Thankfully there is also good parking available out back. The flavors were great and the sauce really enhanced the Ceviche. Everything was fresh, light, and flavorful. Super stop if you are hungry for something other than Poke. :)
I had heard of Da Seafood Cartel but didn't know we'd be passing by this location, so I made us turn around to go back and stop in for a snack. Everyone working there was so nice and friendly and helpful. We ordered the ceviche (which comes with tostadas) and a crab and tobiko spread. It was so good and refreshing!! I've never had tostadas so thin. They were unbelievably crispy and the perfect vehicle for the dip and ceviche together. One of the best bites we had during our trip. I wish we'd had the stomach capacity to try more from them. They have some seating inside and a couple small tables outside. Definitely recommend you stop by if you can!!
